Nick got his permit finally. If he would have just studied he could have gotten it months ago!! We are so busy at work I'm barley treading water. I'll be glad when the next 2 months are over. and some how i have to Christmas shop and get ready for thanksgiving at work.

Scrapbook weekend

Had fun scrapping this weekend. Can't wait to do it again. Rhonda and Terri, I missed you guys. I hope I see all of you again at Betty's in September, at least for a little while. Depends what the Barrel does.

What's up in my life

Time just keeps getting away from me. I keep forgetting to update, and what is going on in my life that is so interesting people want to read about it. NOt much

Emily going to HS this year has been an adventure for both of us. She is adjusting after 3 weeks but she has always like school and this hasn't been an easy time for her. 14 year old girls are so clicky and she obviously wouldn't be in any of those clicks so she is feeling a little blue. But like I said earlier she is adjusting finally.

Nick got his 1st tattoo for his 18th birthday and he has a new girlfriend, she is from Germany, same as last year. New forgien exchange student and he's all over it. Can even speak a few very simple German pharses.

anyway thats my life, oh and for those of you who don't know I'm working 2 jobs now. The barrel and at church about13 hours a week.

its Wednesday

Wednesday so I don't have to go to Cracker Barrel for 10 days!! How fun is that!! A few days of doing nothing and then 5 days at camp!! Can't wait!! Pray for us. 29 girls and 16 boys 3rd to 6th grades. It will be an interesting week for sure. We have to be at breakfast by 730 and we are in dorm rooms. So 2 bathrooms for us and all the other campers too. Not sure excatly how that all works out, but I guess it will.

so where have i been?

I'm so far behind, i've been so busy I can't believe its been this long since I've been on the blog. So I've had VBS and VBX and camp for Em leaves for camp Monday and I leave for camp the next monday. Then the HP movie comes out have card class get my tattoo and then 2 weeeks and the kids go back to school. I didn't realize how busy I was going to be this summer. Where is it going, its passing at the speed of light!!

Vacation over

So my vacation is over and back to work I went.

Saturday was wonderful all but the 45 mins of no power!! Everything turned out beautiful and for the most part it went off without a hitch. The mother of the bride looked beautiful, as did the bride. Brande looked GREAT! When you aren't use to seeing someone dressed up you don't realize how different they will look.

Had a great time. My feet still hurt yesterday and I'm glad I didn't go back to work until today!!

Vacation

The vacation is almost over I'm so sad! 4 more days!!! Bethany's big day is just a few days away!! I don't have much to say except that I haven't been on here much and feel like I should. I really love facebook and I guess most of my what's going on in my life stuff goes on there!!

its a day...

just 5 more shifts and I get to be on a break from work for 13 fab. days. I'm sure I'll see some of you at a wedding, and i plan on sleeping reading and spending time with my family. I'll be cooking and baking. it'll just be great.

Its tomorrow!!! and Saturday, but I'm sad about Sunday! I have to go to a meeting at church I didn't know about until Monday! I'll be there friday night and saturday night! Can't wait!!! I'm bringing almost everything I own!

It's Monday so 4 days till time to scrap away! I'm not even close to ready!Hope everyone else is way ahead of me! I won't get there on Friday till 7 or so I've gotta go to Glasgow and pick up Em. ANd i'm not sure how long I'll stay on Sunday but for a little while anyway! Can't wait!

its Wednesday...

Just 3 weeks till vacation for me! I'll be sleeping in and resting! Sometimes a stayacation is fun, although those you who know me well know I would rather be on the beach! But the hubby says no "real" vacation this year. I do plan to go visit my mamaw for a few days in Indiana and maybe have lunch with some high school friends before the big reunion in August. I can't believe I've been out of high school for 20 years. Time sure has sped by.

All about me...

So those who are faithful follwers of my blog will understand this post, some of you who don't just skip it this time, there are things I feel I need to say and this is my blog so I get to say it.



Lets talk about me and my inability to keep my mouth closed when it comes to certain subjects, its eating away at me, it hurts my spirit and it hurts the spirit of the people around me. I'm aware that my "friends" don't like to hear it, and I'm aware that they all are sick of it. I know I need to learn to play nice. I'm trying to play nice and sometimes I think I can and then wham out of nowhere I lose it! I'm trying to get better at this and I'm failing at the current time.



All this being said I'll be at scrapbook weekend but you won't see much of me till fall, I like the pool and with Emily here I'll be busy! Maybe that will help me with keeping my mouth shut. I've always been passionate about what I believe in and right now for me I believe I need to put distance between me and what makes me "lose my religion"



I love you guys and am so glad I was invited to set at the big girls table and hope I can continue to do that in the fall.

So my big decison for the week ...

Turns into a big decision for the month. I was given a decision to make and then it was sorta taken out of my hands until until the end of April so now my big decision just has to wait, its in God's hands now!!

The shower was beautiful yesterday. Bethany got so many nice things her house should be set up well now. Thank you Wilson for including us in that special day. It won't be long before we are having a even bigger day with Bethany and David!!!

Life...

I haven't posted in forever, I'm so sorry, I know you all are hanging on waiting for me to say something fab! I got nothing,

I can say I'm sorry I didn't get to scrap this weekend, I loved the projects that we did in card class!!

I have big decisions to make this week, can't talk about them yet, but I'm excited!

So hope all of you retreat goers are ready cause this chick isn't! I had good intentions of making chex mix ect. I'll be honest don't know if that is going to happen! I've been VERY busy!! I hope tonight to get some stuff packed and do my cookin stuff tomorrow night. Then I have a packed day Wednesday no time for anything really unless I do it after church (which probably will have to) Then we are leaving bright and early on Thursday morning. Hey Deb W my truck has been doing ok, and as long as we go at the same time I might just go ahead and drive.

3 days!!!

WE had a wonderful card class on Saturday. We made some awesome cards!! Retreat is just days away and I'm so not ready. We leave in 10 days, can u belive it?

A special note to DW, I love you girlfriend, we are all going to be here to help you get through the empty nest. We will be so busy you won't have time to think about it. There are weddings, showers, retreats, shopping trips, on and on it goes. Anyway I'm here for you, let me know when you need me. Don't keep it bottled up! That is what I'm here for!!!

I have a few things to say..

For those of you who know me well, you know I always have a few things to say! I don't post on here very much about the internal workings of our small scrapbook group, but I have this to say... We are cropping on Saturday, well they are I haven't worked this out with the hubby and kids yet. We are going to have our fabulous card class at 10 am on Saturday, class list was sent yesterday I think. We don't need much except stickles, everything else was a no brainer. I know we will be missing several but fun should still be had by all!!!

Now for those who know me well you thought I was going in a totally different direction, as much as I'd like to I wouldn't be very nice if I tryed so for now that's it!!

We had to get the car worked on yet again. We really need it to last another year but I don't know if it will.

I love facebook. I posted a bunch of pics on there today of high school. The fiskars thing this weekend. Then I have a lock in at church then its retreat weekend. Wow how'd that happen?? More later

Sorry I havent posted

I'm not sure what happened this week. How did I go all week and not post? Um lets see, I got my hair cut and colored a completely different color, I had an OK Valentine day, and Nick went skiing and is VEry sore, and Sharon asked him to prom so how about that for a week.

I'll see some of you at the fiskars thing Saturday.

The weekend is over

... Wow it went fast. I had a blast with Em and her girls Friday night. It wasn't to bad really. She did have a fun time too I think. Nick will be going sking next weekend. It's also Valentine's Day for those of you who need to know that. I hope the cancer crop raised a ton of money. Anyway I'll post more later in the week when I get more to say.

Att hasn't worked since close to 1015 this am. This sucks. I can't text I can't call. I can't nothing. So if you need me comment here or email me or call me at work tomorrow during the day.

on the bright side this mess of weather should be gone by Friday so me and my girls will be headed to the lake to our cabins to scrap 48 hours away. Can't wait.

5 days

5 days until our retreat! Are you ready, anything I need to bring besides my table and my stuff??? Betty what time do you plan to get there? Let me know. Can't wait, after the move and the very emotional funeral I need the break!!

its done...

Every box is put empty, all the dishes are put away. Everything is done. I will proably reorganize my scrap area alitte, mostly cause I want to not because I have to, and the storage closet needs a little work rearranging so things fit better but really everything else is done. Pictures on the walls and all that jazz!! I am going to get some 5x7 of Jason and my family to put in the hallway the ones I have up are really old and I took new ones at Christmas so I will use those once I blow them up.

Its such a good feeling, everything is in its place and everything has a place, I didn't really know if that was possible a couple of times today but it alll worked out.

1 day till move day.

Wow I'd don't know how I'll ever be done. we finally had to break down yesterday and go buy boxes, just couldn't collect enough. We have so much stuff, I look at it all and wonder where in the world we kept it all. I think that is why my house always looks like a cyclone has been through it. To much stuff for the space.

8 days till we go on a girly adventure ... are you packed? I'm not, don't even know where my scrapbook stuff is at this point. I'll probably bring mostly Disney stuff to work on, still have the kids books to finish. I also would like to do cards for mom's birthday like Rhonda did for her parents for Christmas. We'll just have to see.

Hope everyone is well, and did you see on the news Obama took the oath of office again because of the mixing of words, he also didn't use a bible the 2nd time around. I found it interesting.

1 week until the move..

Emily is coming to live here after the school year ends so we are moving down a couple of buildings to a 3 bedroom. We have sent so much stuff to Goodwill, jason has taken 3 trucks full to the trash or goodwill and i'm getting rid of a couple of pieces of furniture when we actually move. Then the next Friday is when we leave so I better get unpacked quick so I can repack for our little getaway.

Facebook is addictive!! I love how you can search people from your high school. Lisa thanks for letting me know it had that feature, I've found all kinds of people!! Just 10 days till retreat. Can't wait to scrapbook for 48 hours straight!!

Time has gotten away from me.

I guess because nothing has happened to blog about. you may want to look at a website if you haven't before picaboo for photo books. I saw someones on New Years Eve and it was awesome. I made one for Brandi's wedding but haven't ordered it yet. Also I guess I'll see most of you tomorrow at the card class. Can't wait! It will be my first one since I've been at work for all the other ones. I also started a part time job this week. Just 5 hours a week but it should be alot of fun. Now my foot is in the door and I hope maybe I'll be able to go full time in the next few years. It's at my church by the way. see ya in the am!!
