some info...

So the April's Fool joke has come and gone and yes it was a joke. I'll tell the whole story this weekend. Glad its ok with everyone if Emily comes along. She proably won't do much but she will proably at least try.

My son came home from his dad's all ready to go somewhere else. Anywhere else really. He says he doesn't like being in this house. I'm sure its because there are rules. Tons and tons of rules according to him. I don't really agree.
The rules are as follows. no gutair before 9am or after 9pm, take out trash and empty dishwasher when needed, don't get in trouble and school, don't smoke, drugs ect. and get c's or better in all your classes. And attend church. wow those are some tough rules.
Are you kidding me!!!!!!!! He has such a hard life. I know this is all because his dad is going to be having his own place and he is thinking he'll move there and not have to deal with me anymore. Cause I nag all the time. Wow I wish I didn't have teenagers some days. THis to shall pass I'm sure.

Found the pictures. I'm so happy. Sent to the cousin. HOpe everyone is having a great weekend. I spent the day with another scrapper south of the border it all the cool craft stores and a certain lss. Didn't buy alot buy a few things. Got a cool stamp set and some journaling boxes. Emily also bought some stuff because she will be scrappy with us next weekend. (betty if thats ok??)

april fools jokes??

So what a week its been. I have a few minutes so let me just give you all an update. My old boss may or may not be playing one of the best april fool's jokes ever on me. That is all i'm going to say about that until it is all finished up.

I love to get people on April Fools day. Its really alot of fun. So they are all working together to get me its not very much fun for me but they will get a great laugh out of it.

So what is going on with everyone? Betty how many are cropping next weekend? I'll be there on Saturday but not Friday night.

Well, I haven't had much to say this week.. What a crazy 2 days its been. On Monday a worked 9 hours and almost 12 hours yesterday. I don't go in until later today.


I'm in search of 2 pictures that I had in my hand right before retreat. They are of my Grandparents, my cousin called and asked for them to be emailed to him. He is getting the tattoo that papa had and my other cousin already has. The reason I have the pic is because I was going to use it for my tatoo. I had already misplaced these once and found them while packing for retreat. I then put them right where I would know where they were. Any idea where that could be? I've ripped the house apart trying to figure it out. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Did I bother to tell anyone where I put them?>?????





Anyway thanks for taking the time to listen to the vent. I'll find those things probably to late for him though.

Hope everyone takes a minute today during the food, and egg hunts to reflect on what this day is really about. Some 2000 plus years ago Jesus died on a cross, a horrible death, for our sins so we all may be saved and spend enteral life in heaven. Please celebrate this holiday in a local church.

Emily is here for the weekend. She and Nick are already bickering amongst themselves. Why they can't just get along for a few hours is beyond me.

We all have new clothes for Easter we will be a very springy family. Except Nick not sure what he is going to do except not want to participate in anything the family is doing.


Glad to be off the next few days. I'll try to blog some more.

Retreat news

The retreat was so wonderful. We relaxed, but for Debbie and I we both worked really hard on Thursday. I didn't get as much done as I wanted. But oh well it happens. We had almost 50 scrappers on Thursday night vs just 15 last retreat. People are using the extra time. So if you are signing up for the next retreat, make plans for Thursday at 1pm.

Just wanted to say hey from the lake. Friday at 11 am and there is no snow. or sleet or ice. Hope it stays away.

Everyone is cropping away about 50 people here last night vs. just 15 last year on Thursday.

I had a scrappin buddy and would love to have one again but life is always changing and as time has passed we've drifted more and more apart due to life's events not to mention we live 50 miles away from each other, and all my other friends could care less about scrapbooking. I miss our times together sharing family stories and having a good girly girl time together and sharing our passion for scrapbooking.
So to those of you that have a friend that your always getting together with on a regular basis scrapping, having a good time, traveling to and from crops and other events, consider yourself lucky and value that friendship as there are many of us who long for that kind of relationship with someone special as a best friend.
I guess I'm just down in the dumps this morning and have attended a recent crop, where others were scrapping with their friend(s) and I was off to myself and was even the last person to have someone else come and sit beside them, and actually it was when I was leaving even.
I guess in my heart I was envious of everyone else. Oh well, enough of my whinning, and Thanks for letting me vent, but I just wanted to step foward and remind everyone to hold their friends close to their heart and do something special for them to show much you value their friendship(s)! Have a great remaining week(end) scrapping!

I'm not ready ...

I have a whole list to complete tomorrow. I'm working only a half day. And I have to teach tomorrow night and hopefully I'll be ready to head out first thing Thursday morning.

My weight loss is at a stand still, not gaining, not losing. Just stuck. and i haven't been eating well so that is why I'm not losing. Gotta get back in the swing of things. Probably after the weekend.
