Well tomorrow is a big family day. We will go to mom's as soon as church is over and then Tyson and Brandi will be at church but I'm not sure I'll really get to see them much. Not sure how long they are staying. Lets see what else is going on? Emily leaves for DC for a mission trip on Monday at 5 am which means we have to leave home about 445. really does anyone get up that early??? YUCK!!

Jason should be buying a new car/truck soon. We haven't decided for sure but its gotta happen the black truck is falling apart as I type, and the blazer is well 10 years old and has a bunch of miles on it!!

I'm working on my pretty women pages for the NSW at the clubhouse. I've not had any great thoughts as of yet though. Punch lines maybe I'm watching it right now and I love some of the lines!!!

Well I'm well into my new job. I do enjoy it, its a little boring sometimes. I didnt realize how much I would miss people. I also didnt realize what a pain picking out clothes everyday would be.

The kids... well they are kids and don't like each other and do horrible mean spirited things to each other on a regular basis. I so thought by now at 15 and 18 they would have out grown that but no such luck for now. If you are a prayer keep them in your prayers. Nick plans to spend 6 weeks in Germany this summer and then come back to graduate and then go back to live. Her name is Sarah cause other than a girl what could make you want to move half way across the world.

Emily is taking tumbling and is thinking about trying out for cheerleader next year. With the school split not sure what she is going to do she can't seem to decide. She turned 15 this past Monday and she is having a sleepover on Friday night. Gigi cupcakes, movies, and who knows what else. Teenage girls it could be anything.

Jason and I are both fine, we feel like we are stuck we'd like to buy a house and a couple of cars but all those things take money, right, so we are working on it. If anyone happens to win the lottery can you throw us a little?

Its been forever since I posted so much has happened since October. I am no longer a long term employee of Cracker Barrel. I'm working at Hillvue Heights Church as the assistant to the children pastor. And I love it!! Work is fun, less stressful and I get to spend more time with my family which are all great things.!!

Had lunch with an old friend the other day, she is a new 1st time mom and I felt sorry for her almost, she is so lonely! She is staying home with the baby and has no friends really. It made me wonder if that was me some 15 ish years ago when Emily was born and how I ended up divorced before she was 2. Just sheer bordom of my then husband being all the adult conversationn I had, and then when I finally did go back to work when she was one and had adult time I just couldn't get enough. I don't know but it made me think about it.

Please pray for a friend of mine with a child with CP!! He will be going through some painfull treatment soon and needs our prayers as does his family!!

Nick got his permit finally. If he would have just studied he could have gotten it months ago!! We are so busy at work I'm barley treading water. I'll be glad when the next 2 months are over. and some how i have to Christmas shop and get ready for thanksgiving at work.

Time just keeps getting away from me. I keep forgetting to update, and what is going on in my life that is so interesting people want to read about it. NOt much

Emily going to HS this year has been an adventure for both of us. She is adjusting after 3 weeks but she has always like school and this hasn't been an easy time for her. 14 year old girls are so clicky and she obviously wouldn't be in any of those clicks so she is feeling a little blue. But like I said earlier she is adjusting finally.

Nick got his 1st tattoo for his 18th birthday and he has a new girlfriend, she is from Germany, same as last year. New forgien exchange student and he's all over it. Can even speak a few very simple German pharses.

anyway thats my life, oh and for those of you who don't know I'm working 2 jobs now. The barrel and at church about13 hours a week.

Wednesday so I don't have to go to Cracker Barrel for 10 days!! How fun is that!! A few days of doing nothing and then 5 days at camp!! Can't wait!! Pray for us. 29 girls and 16 boys 3rd to 6th grades. It will be an interesting week for sure. We have to be at breakfast by 730 and we are in dorm rooms. So 2 bathrooms for us and all the other campers too. Not sure excatly how that all works out, but I guess it will.

I'm so far behind, i've been so busy I can't believe its been this long since I've been on the blog. So I've had VBS and VBX and camp for Em leaves for camp Monday and I leave for camp the next monday. Then the HP movie comes out have card class get my tattoo and then 2 weeeks and the kids go back to school. I didn't realize how busy I was going to be this summer. Where is it going, its passing at the speed of light!!

So my vacation is over and back to work I went.

Saturday was wonderful all but the 45 mins of no power!! Everything turned out beautiful and for the most part it went off without a hitch. The mother of the bride looked beautiful, as did the bride. Brande looked GREAT! When you aren't use to seeing someone dressed up you don't realize how different they will look.

Had a great time. My feet still hurt yesterday and I'm glad I didn't go back to work until today!!

Just 3 weeks till vacation for me! I'll be sleeping in and resting! Sometimes a stayacation is fun, although those you who know me well know I would rather be on the beach! But the hubby says no "real" vacation this year. I do plan to go visit my mamaw for a few days in Indiana and maybe have lunch with some high school friends before the big reunion in August. I can't believe I've been out of high school for 20 years. Time sure has sped by.

So those who are faithful follwers of my blog will understand this post, some of you who don't just skip it this time, there are things I feel I need to say and this is my blog so I get to say it.

Lets talk about me and my inability to keep my mouth closed when it comes to certain subjects, its eating away at me, it hurts my spirit and it hurts the spirit of the people around me. I'm aware that my "friends" don't like to hear it, and I'm aware that they all are sick of it. I know I need to learn to play nice. I'm trying to play nice and sometimes I think I can and then wham out of nowhere I lose it! I'm trying to get better at this and I'm failing at the current time.

All this being said I'll be at scrapbook weekend but you won't see much of me till fall, I like the pool and with Emily here I'll be busy! Maybe that will help me with keeping my mouth shut. I've always been passionate about what I believe in and right now for me I believe I need to put distance between me and what makes me "lose my religion"

I love you guys and am so glad I was invited to set at the big girls table and hope I can continue to do that in the fall.

For those of you who know me well, you know I always have a few things to say! I don't post on here very much about the internal workings of our small scrapbook group, but I have this to say... We are cropping on Saturday, well they are I haven't worked this out with the hubby and kids yet. We are going to have our fabulous card class at 10 am on Saturday, class list was sent yesterday I think. We don't need much except stickles, everything else was a no brainer. I know we will be missing several but fun should still be had by all!!!

Now for those who know me well you thought I was going in a totally different direction, as much as I'd like to I wouldn't be very nice if I tryed so for now that's it!!

Every box is put empty, all the dishes are put away. Everything is done. I will proably reorganize my scrap area alitte, mostly cause I want to not because I have to, and the storage closet needs a little work rearranging so things fit better but really everything else is done. Pictures on the walls and all that jazz!! I am going to get some 5x7 of Jason and my family to put in the hallway the ones I have up are really old and I took new ones at Christmas so I will use those once I blow them up.

Its such a good feeling, everything is in its place and everything has a place, I didn't really know if that was possible a couple of times today but it alll worked out.

Wow I'd don't know how I'll ever be done. we finally had to break down yesterday and go buy boxes, just couldn't collect enough. We have so much stuff, I look at it all and wonder where in the world we kept it all. I think that is why my house always looks like a cyclone has been through it. To much stuff for the space.

8 days till we go on a girly adventure ... are you packed? I'm not, don't even know where my scrapbook stuff is at this point. I'll probably bring mostly Disney stuff to work on, still have the kids books to finish. I also would like to do cards for mom's birthday like Rhonda did for her parents for Christmas. We'll just have to see.

Hope everyone is well, and did you see on the news Obama took the oath of office again because of the mixing of words, he also didn't use a bible the 2nd time around. I found it interesting.

Emily is coming to live here after the school year ends so we are moving down a couple of buildings to a 3 bedroom. We have sent so much stuff to Goodwill, jason has taken 3 trucks full to the trash or goodwill and i'm getting rid of a couple of pieces of furniture when we actually move. Then the next Friday is when we leave so I better get unpacked quick so I can repack for our little getaway.

It will be my first one since I've been at work for all the other ones. I also started a part time job this week. Just 5 hours a week but it should be alot of fun. Its Christmas Eve

Well its the most wonderful time of the year. I can't believe that Christmas Eve is already upon us. When I was a child this day was the best. I went to my dad's 2 family Christmas's this day and then my mom's mom had it that night and it was the best.

Now as an adult we spend the afternoon/evening with Jason's family. And then try to stop by one set of friends and spend a few minutes.

Today I'll be cooking to get ready for tomorrow.

Christmas will be over for another year. The next week will be alot of fun for most of us, time with family and friends and food, and maybe some great presents!! This will be the first Christmas since my divorce many years ago that I will have both kids on Christmas morning and no need to return them to MS. I have had them on Christmas morning but I have always had to rush them home the next day. I'm extra thankful for that this year. Of course the presents aren't what they use to be, like new toys and all that but they got the stuff on their list so they should be excited just nothing to "play" with. Neither of the kids our very big gammers so not even new xbox games.

I wrote out our menu for Christmas day yesterday, its huge. We stay home Christmas day sometimes people drop by. But mostly we are just at home. I'm going to post the menu not because I think anyone cares what I eat on Christmas day but I want to have it on the blog so I can look back on it next year.

Cinnamon rolls early while we open gifts
(breakfast) omelets with lots of veggies, bacon, sausage links, french toast, syrup, fresh orange juice
(lunch) summer sausage, cheese, cheesball, crackers, brownies and cookies
(supper) ham, hamburgers(nick request), corn casserole, sweet pot casserole, green beans,macaroni and cheese, potato salad,(em requested) rolls, cappuccino pie

That is my menu for Christmas day. Try to post again a couple of times before the holiday.

I love Christmas, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I do have several projects underway that might or might not get done. I'm working on it. Half of my presents are wrapped and all but a few presents are bought. Gift cards are mostly all I have left. I made 2 cheese balls tonight one for my scrappin' buddies and one for Jason to take to work. I also made those noodle/butterscotch haystack things, and made my cookie dough and will bake it soon. I have to wait for it to chill in the frig. My bags can't be finished until my cookies are, my tags are done as well as my cards.

oh by the way Thanks so much for shopping at the Barrel if you did, I need my job and it is job security when you see all those people spending their money. Thanks a bunch.

I'm sure you've noticed no blogging for me lately. We have been without a computer for a couple of weeks because we had no power cord and who knew it was such an ordeal to obtain a new one for a laptop. I had no idea how ridiculously expensive they were.

Lots going on with the holiday fast approaching. presents to wrap!! and alot of them! This week is shopping days at work and they are always a little crazy.!!

Next weekend is my big scrap event with my friends swapping cookies and tags and pages ! can't wait and I have a ton of gifts to finish and had a couple more added to my plate this week. One i'm being paid for so I couldn't say no to that!!

For those of you who know Bonnie you know she is a wonderful caring person. Who loves us all with a huge heart. She had a heart attack yesterday, she is now in stable condition. She actually had 2 heart attacks and is now equipped with a stint. The store is in limbo but I understand Mike is taking drastic measures to go ahead and get rid of it however possible. Her daughter Debbie Turner is going to run the store until they can get sell. Please send prayers her way. I'll post any new updates I have.

That is why I haven't posted anything. I've just been getting ready for the big turkey day at work, and the big shopping day on Friday. Making my list checking it twice. As the kids get older that get harder and harder to buy for and try to decide what to get and what they really want. Sometimes I think they want more than they did when they were little that they don't really want but thinks its cool for a minute.

Nick also brought the stuff home today to order his class ring. that made me go wow a class ring. Is it time for that?Hard to believe. more later

Jason said last night he was actually going to miss the little girl. I love her she is sweet as can be and she was no trouble at all. She didn't have to be corrected or told no except about the remote. but with all that said I hope God is in on my plan to have no more little ones of my own. Nieces and Nephews will be just fine with me.

With the Christmas season upon us I have all sorts of things that need to be finished. Not even counting the gift buying and wrapping. How did I decide to make so many things before Christmas? Its a little crazy really. There really isn't any of the projects I can let go. So I'm scrapping at home which I almost never do. I'm scrapping the weekend of the Christmas swap and all the evenings in between that I'm actually home. Wish me luck!!!

Please let me know the dates when you guys get it worked out. Our clubhouse, not as nice as Betty's would be avaiable to. The bathrooms are a little rustic (clean but old) and there is just a frig and we have to bring our own tables and chairs but its there if you want to try it.

But personally I really like the clubhouse as long as Betty doesn't mind getting it. I have to turn my schedule in a month at a time at work so let me know if you know the dates so I can try to be off.

So you all will be at Barb's for the card class this weekend, I'll be at Jason's sisters wedding. I'm pretty sure a couple of people are going to take care of me and make sure I get all the stuff, thank you ahead of time friends.

Well we are keeping our 17 month old niece for the week. We will get her on Sunday night, and then we are going to return her on Thursday evening. Her parents are going to Barbados(I think t hat is how you spell it). Tyson just got home from Iraq and then they have their wedding Saturday and fly out on Sunday. Its been along time since I had a little one under foot. Surely we will get through it all. You probably won't be hearing much from me next week.

WE all got several things done, Saturday was the least productive day for all of us. For me Thursday night and Friday were productive. After that I just lost my mojo. Well still have a bunch to do but I spent the evening with my family in Glasgow. It was alot of fun. My niece and nephew were so cute. They were all about trick and treating.

Wow where has the time gone? DW and I will be moving tables and chairs and setting up product by this time next week. I sure hope I'm ready!

Debbie w, Debbie h, Rhonda and I all went shopping in Nashville yesterday. It was alot of fun. WE all bought a ton. The back end of Debbie's truck was very full. I got pens, and paper (still haven't found much paper for my vacation book) and a new paper carrying thing and more paper. Joann had it 5 for $1 and michaels was on sale also and it was soild bazzill. Oh and I also got a bigger zyron than the x, but not the biggest one. Maybe it will work better than that 510 I got.

I think DW bought stamps and I'm not sure what else. NOt sure about the other two either, except they were purchasing paper at Michaels.

We also ran into Terri and Olive Garden and at Joann's.

Today Jason and I have been married for 10 years. Sometimes it seems like yesterday and sometimes it seems like decades. I love him so much and we are so blessed to have a wonderful marriage. We are going to dinner all dressed up and then who knows what else.

WE went to Epcot. No lines at all. Soarin was pretty cool, as was Space ship earth and Test Track. We left our condo at 8am and left Epcot around 7pm. More later

We got to the condo around 215 pm (eastern) this afternoon. We went to DTD tonight after Jason watched the 1st half of the ND game. It was busy but not crazy. We went in all the stores and what alot of disney stuff there is. The lego store was nuts. I'd heard there was a scrapbook store but it was closed. World of disney had some scrap stuff but didn't look because I thoght there was a whole store. Anyway condo is nice. We had a little trouble getting around since we got here. Jason and I have fussed about it several times. He can't seem to understand the layout and I didn't study it because I thought he would just know like usual. Anyway more tomorrow.

Packing

So tonight I'm packing. Mostly (is that a word?) everything is packed but my son will only wear jeans so I'm waiting for those to dry. ANd in the morning I'll pack the toiletries and stuff like that. It still is kinda overwhelming to me if we were flying I'd have to pair way down. The count stands at 1 back pack, 1 duffel bag, 1 camera/laptop bag, 1 extra lg suitcase, 1 lg suitcase, 1 medium suitcase, 1 cosmetic bag, a cooler and a crate with food in it. Do I really need all that stuff? I guess I do its on my list of stuff. And its just 1 day until we leave. WOW

And there are 4 goody bags which are about the size of those black walmart bags that you can get now instead of plastic? That is alot of bags!!

Well everything is coming at me quick now. I have a huge pile of stuff in the bedroom that needs to be divided up and put in suitcases ect. I getting Emily out of school at 12:30 on Friday and getting nick about 1:45 and we are trying to leave by 3pm. That may or may not happen. We can't hardly wait. We being Em and I, Jason and Nick are not that excited. I just hope Nick can be nice for 7 days. Itll be interesting to see how it all works out.

Anyway so much to do, gotta go to Debbie's and get my shot, pick up movies, and then Id like to get a pedicure if I have time. I have two more tanning sessions I have to work 3 more days and church on Wednesday night and then all the stuff that just goes with leaving town, you know clean out frig, go to bank to get cash (alot of cash lol) um take nick to practice tomorrow night, cook dinner tomorrow and Thursday night which means dishes to do. The packing is the part that has me a little crazy. I'm completley overwhelmed. I don't know where to start I have about a billion things that I don't normally pack stuff for the condo and then ponchos and banaids and headache meds and do you take those with you to the park everyday and have to lug around a bag. ANd what about my camera? how do I want to carry it. I bought a new camera bag but haven't decided for sure if I like it.

My vacation is coming in a hurry. I only have about 5 free nights until vacation. I feel like I can't get it all done its 3 weeks away but heck there sure is alot to do. So instead of doing it I'm surfing the internet.?? Why????? Why ???

On another note cropping this weekend. Betty are we going to have a big crowd? I'll be there Friday night. Not decided about Saturday. I do need to get some pictures developed.

I talked to Bonnie today (owner scrapbook villiage) and she wanted me to let everyone know that Regina (her daughter) Is a nominee for Homecoming queen at BCHS. One of the male cheerlearders will be escorting her. She is very excited. She told Bonnie she thought that was for preps, and cheerlearders not people like her, and Bonnie said that what the love of Jesus in your heart can do for you.

I just think it is GREAT.

Godstock 15

Well another Godstock has come and gone. We have been to about 10 Godstocks (the last 10) and it has never rained during worship. It has rained right up until time and right after time but never during worship. Well it did this year it drizzled all night. My socks were wet my clothes, my hair, it was an interesting evening to say the least. I did enjoy it though. Saturday evening was much better and we had a fire in Melinda's campsite after worship and had marshmallows and hot dogs. I didn't take my camera, I never do, not sure why so I won't have any pictures.

I should be at the next weekend, at least Friday night.

OK so we've made it to another weekend. Most of you have a three day weekend. I worked on Saturday and I work on Monday. I'm going to Godstock the next weekend. So its the rumor that HL is getting all this new paper. It wasn't out yet last night but its on sale this week. I really liked some of the new stacks and I still have a gift card so I'll be using that to get another one. I got the RockStar one last week. Busy week for me 2 days of meeting with HO and then a day off but I have to get car tags, driver lic. ect so not much of a day off. Then we will almost be to the weekend again.

Almost a whole week has gone by and I didn't even realize it. The weekend was so busy and now its almost the weekend again. Last night was the first night for Club 56 for the school year we had about 60 kids. That is alot of kids.

Anyway see most of you at DW's this weekend. And my son turnes 17 today. He'll be grown and leaving home before I even realize it.

Nick was awesome

I am so proud of Nick, and Adam. They did an awesome job tonight. Maybe he'll be supporting us in a few years. He did a really great job. I couldn't belive how well he did. I'll post pics on Monday.

I'm really busy tomorrow with birthday party and family here from Ohio and then Sunday is church and a wedding reception, and then a birthday party at my mother in laws for Jason, Nick and myself.

WEll I'm just posting a quick hello. Jason had his birthday today. I made all his favorites for dinner and then the kids and I left so he could play Xbox with no interruptions. Its Thursday again last Thursday I was doing a count down. I don't have anything to count down to tonight. I guess I could do Disney Count 10 weeks or is it 11 weeks. So I won't start boring you with that already. I could count down to Bethany's wedding, Which is like 10 months, or Christmas which is 5 months. You know all sorts of things to count down till.

We had a lost and found ipod at work and after the right amount of time elapsed Gerry let me bring it home for Emily so she is really excited she bought some songs. She goes back to Glasgow next weekend for the school year.

The weekend was alot of fun. Anyone shopping for a scrapbook retreat I would recommend this. The waiting on you is absolutely amazing, you just get up from the table and leave your dishes. Where else can you do that? They helped you carry all your bags in. On Friday night they turned down your bed and put a mint on the pillow. They had soda and water and tea to drink all the time. they also had wonderfully prepared meals. we had wonderful food the whole weekend. There are pics on the blog also so make sure to check them all out.

I got a few more things ready tonight. I go to get my hair cut in the morning and then I work till 8. Jason is leaving bright and early on Saturday morning. I have to work.
